This building is a typical example of masonry architecture at the end of the 19th century and at the begining of the 20th century.

The office building of İzmir State Tourism Bureau is one of the typical example of masonry architecture at the end of the 19th century and at the begining of the 20th century. It has been designed with Art Nouveau style especially with its wrought iron bars, balustrades and door eave. It was reserved for İzmir Commerce Market between the years 1891 and 1919, for Greek National Bank in 1921 and for İzmir Central Post Office after 1922. After its restoration in 1996 the building is has been reserved for İzmir State Tourism Bureau.
